    Receiving an inheritance at any stage of life is a wonderful gift. But it also comes with unique challenges that are rarely talked about.   • Death or divorce left you with money...

    Both death and divorce can leave a person in a dramatically different financial position than they have ever been in. Did your spouse handle all the finances? Are you left with assets you have never had to deal with before? Are you trying to figure out what numbers go with what accounts and where all the passwords are while also dealing with the emotions surrounding the loss of a relationship?

  • Absolutely not. You can share as few or as many details as you want.

  • Yes. Sadly, this is not an uncommon problem. I find that most often the devil is in the details. This could look like hiring a professional who does not disclose their fees, or getting sold on a real estate deal that sounds too good to be true. I can equip you with questions to ask any time you are hiring someone who will be handling large amounts of your money. I can teach you what to look out for in real estate deals. And you can always book a session to talk about something you are particularly concerned about but not sure how to handle.

  • Some people need 1 on 1 support while others thrive in group settings. I think the 10 Week Cohort covers a lot of bases. You get to be part of a community, you get to learn from professionals that you will probably need to hire at some point, you have the accountability of weekly sessions.

  • Yes. If there is someone you are going through this with, I welcome the two of you doing sessions together. If you sign up for the 10 Week Cohort you will each need to sign up separately though.
